PHI's Core Values

1. Generosity - we believe in treating each member with respect, appreciation, humility, honesty, support, patience, forgiving and love which will enable us to communicate and be externally effective to our stakeholders and to those whom PHI will reach.

2. Equity and Inclusion - we believe that undesired circumstances may have influenced individual’s actions that may have caused discomfort, pain, regrets and abandonment by loved ones. We believe that some individuals require being heard and are sincere in desiring to live a better life than the one they currently are. We believe that there are individuals who are hoping for a way out to come along their way. We believe that Possibility’s Hand Inc. through the Holding Station and Rehabilitation Centre is the opportunity that many are looking for. We prioritize intentional actions in assisting each interested individual within our care to their possibility of a better life in relation to their passion, skills and abilities.

3. Wellbeing - we foster a safe space that caters to all aspects of holistic wellbeing to the residents within our care and their families. We treat everyone the way that we would want to be treated.

4. Empathy - we respect the challenges and experiences encountered by others and value them as human beings and not by their past or current situations.

5. Resilience - we are passionate about our Mission and Vision and is intentional about bridging the gap while providing possibilities to our residents encouraging them to persevere through all obstacles.

PHI's Pillars

1. People - our directors, members (volunteers) and full-time staff communication and relationship with each other is of paramount importance. Actions are generated by individuals who do great work, and the results depend on the efforts that were made. PHI identifies people who are honest and dedicated with a high level of competence and confidentiality who could work together with a team.​​​

2. ​Programs - our programs are reflective on the mission and show clear and measurable outcomes.​

3. Money - fundraising skills, financial stewardship, business oriented and honesty are some of the qualities that are sought out in individuals who serve on the Finance and Fundraising Committee. Spending beyond our means is not permitted. Transparency among the Directors, various Committees, Stakeholders and members will occur on a regular basis.​

4. Strategy - every decision to be made will be done strategically. The purpose of PHI, our intended impact and projected outcome will be carefully considered in all decision making.​

5. Narrative - every member will speak with one voice on who we are and what we do in a clear and concise manner.
